A key objective of Women in Super is to foster access to professional development for members, including education and training.
Women in Super is proud to support the development of women and to offer a wide range of national and state-based scholarship programs each year. Our aim is to continually provide and encourage lifelong learning amongst our members.
In 2015, Women in Super awarded 14 scholarships to our members. These opportunities provided education, training and support to women in the superannuation and financial services industries. For the first time Women in Super partnered with the AGSM @ UNSW Business School to offer an education scholarship for four WIS NSW members wishing to further their learning and leadership capabilities. We also had four WIS VIC members as the inaugural recipients of Women in Super’s Victorian Mavis Robertson Scholarship Program. The inspirational legacy of superannuation pioneer Mavis Robertson will now live on in a formal scholarship program designed to celebrate and support the career aspirations of females working in the superannuation industry.
