WIS Make Super Fair Campaign Launch - Sydney

The launch of Women in Super's new policy campaign

Women in Super is proud to be launching its new policy campaign, Make Super Fair. Women still retire with 47% less super than men. It is time to do something and close the gap.

The main objective of the policy is to build on the success of the Women in Super led campaign (with support from our network) to save the LISC / Low Income Superannuation Tax Offset and garner support for a suite of additional focused policy measures to improve retirement outcomes for women and low income earners.

  • 40% of single women are currently retiring below the poverty line
  • Women are more dependent than men on the age pension
  • The fastest growing cohort of homeless people is single older women

The current super system is not fair, efficient or sustainable and we have a plan to change it.

Please note: This event is open to all (members, non-members, women and men).

Registrations via the website have now closed for this event. If you would still like to attend, please email mshenstone@womeninsuper.com.au
