You wouldn’t have guessed it was before 9 o’clock in the morning, the way Olivia Cozzolino, Principal, Growth Services at Social Traders got the room buzzing about all things Social Procurement. It was an inspiring way to kick off the day, and for those who attended, the ACSI Conference. We are confident that most people privy to Olivia’s presentation walked away thinking about how they can make more conscious choices when considering their options for catering, cleaning, office supplies and the myriad of other social enterprises we now know are out there.

The 2018 National Road Show hosted Lucy Brogden, the Chair and Commissioner of the National Mental Health Commission, as our keynote speaker. As we visited each of the capital cities around Australia, Lucy shared some important messages with the almost 1,000 attendees. She spoke about mental health in the workplace and gave us all a timely reminder to bring this issue to the forefront before there are serious consequences.

All over Australia 100,000 Australians spent their Mother’s Day honouring loved ones and supporting those with breast cancer at the 2018 Women in Super Mother’s Day Classic (MDC). This year the event turned 21 and highlighted the human face of the 1 in 8 women diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.
