The Newday Summit showcases courageous trailblazers from Australia and around the globe who motivate, challenge and prepare the audience to become the type of leader they want to be. The WIS SA Newday Summit Scholarship is funded by the WIS SA Committee, and allows two of their members to attend the one-day Summit. This year, the scholarship was awarded to Alicja Grant and Angela Scarfo – both from Statewide Super. We asked them what they thought about the experience.
Our speed mentoring experience is always a key event in the SA calendar. In 2018, attendees heard from four inspirational women who shared the secrets of their success, and provided honest and candid responses to a range of personal and work-related questions.

We have recently announced the successful recipients of three well regarded Women in Super scholarship programs – the Mavis Robertson Professional Development Scholarship, the Women in Super NSW and AGSM @ UNSW Business School Scholarship and the Women in Super SA Newday Summit Scholarship. The calibre of applications from our members was exceptional and we are delighted to be able to offer scholarship programs such as these to our members year-on-year.
