Last week, Women in Super had the honour of hosting our first Speaker Bureau Showcase, where we invited the participants of our recent Speaker Training Day (held in June last year) to dust off their notes, and put them into practice, in front of a small, but high-stakes audience.
Women in Super are currently in the process of creating a Speaker Bureau, so that when event organisers reach out to us looking for speakers, we will have a full catalogue of industry experts ready to suggest.
Last year's Speaker Training Day was the first step in making this happen. It was thrilling for us to see, for the first time, not only what these women had learned on the day, but also the different ways they used the tools provided. The different takes and topics were truly inspiring, and we could not be more proud. Thank you to Renae Anderson (CareSuper), Carly Carroll (VicSuper), Erin Quinn (UniSuper), Lynda Cross (Cbus Super Fund) and Renee Nutbean (ISPT) for sharing their stories with us.
Women in Super will continue to work with the funds to up-skill their women, and our next Speaker Training Day will be held in at J.P. Morgan in Sydney on 13 May 2020.
