And just like that we are in the middle of February and holidays are becoming a distant memory, luckily, we have a whole lot of excellent things planned for members in 2025! With only 3 weeks until International Women’s Day, tickets are selling fast for our national events in Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide. We can’t wait to hear from our keynote speaker Dr Ashna Basu, and whether she thinks the federal government’s recent announcement on significant funding for women’s health will shift the dial in terms of health impacts for women in Australia.

Our state committees are also planning some incredible events, and we know that they are doing a fantastic job because nominations closed yesterday for our annual committee election, and we have a record number of women who have put themselves forward – stay tuned for details next week on how you can vote for representatives in your state.

You’ve also let us know through our member survey (don’t forget to have your say and have the chance to win a ticket to this years' National Road Show) that we are doing a great job with our monthly lunch and learn webinars so we will continue those again this year. Our first webinar features Sruthi Srikanthan who presented on her Remaking the Norm report at our sold-out breakfast at the ASFA conference last year, an awesome opportunity to hear practical advice on how we can all work to remake harmful gender norms. It is going to be a huge year, and we can’t wait to share more opportunities with you.
