making 2021 a great year to remember

2020 was the year of working from home – we take a look at what the future of work looks like, and strategies for how to make the ‘new normal’ work for you.

Can that impossibly elusive dream of ‘work life balance’ finally be reached in a post pandemic world? Can working from home forever be a thing, and is it a silver bullet for everyone? The reality is, it’s all up in the air. Uncertainty is the new normal and we’re having to be more agile and relaxed with constant change than ever before. Workplaces are responding differently and there’s a lot of commentary and speculation about the future of work as we know it.

So what can we do? Look after ourselves, that’s what. Join us for a discussion with Executive Coach and Learning and Development extraordinaire Renee Curtiss to understand how to put in place holistic and sustainable practices to support your continued professional development, and how to foster emotional resilience in an ever-changing world – all while avoiding all too real ‘burnout’.

Come along to hear:

  • Productivity in the office, and at home – how to make virtual work, work for you
  • Proven strategies for building personal resilience and practicing them in the workplace
  • Ways to continually maintain your professional networks and keep advancing your career prospects

Don’t miss the opportunity to learn how to maximise a hybrid work model, for a better working year and more dynamic 2021.

Renee Curtiss is an Executive Coach & Consultant with over 20 years’ experience spanning capability management, training and facilitation, and organisational leadership. With several post graduate qualifications under her belt across adult education, industry learning and coaching, she further put us all to shame by being exceptionally productive in 2020 and completing her Graduate Diploma in Organisational Coaching & Leadership.

What’s her secret? Renee is an advocate for balance and has a growth mindset when it comes to her work and life – a lifelong learner herself, Renee is deeply passionate in her role as Capability Consultant for HESTA, the industry super fund for health and community services. She brings a wealth of knowledge and continually applies market-leading and best practice techniques to her role. Responsible for learning and professional development at HESTA, Renee delivers fit for purpose learning experiences that always put people at the centre, and empowers others to practice empathy, grow and think differently, and foster resilience and sustainable practices.

In her spare time you’ll find her adventuring to Elwood beach with her family (with her two adorable rescue dogs in tow!), doing yoga or record hunting.
