MAXIMISING RETIREMENT POTENTIAL FOR THE AGeING POPULATION
1 in 6 Australians are currently aged 65 and and over and 619,000 of these are employed in the labour force. Where the workforce participation rate for men has almost doubled over the last 20 years, it has almost quadrupled for women. These demographic shifts have had - and will continue to have - a significant impact on investments, superannuation and the economy in general.
Held in partnership with J.P. Morgan, the annual Women in Super Networking Breakfast at ASI this year will be exploring the investment strategies super funds are required to adopt in order to address the unique financial needs and goals of our maturing population, with a particular focus on older women.
Our panel of experts includes:
- Esme Eterovic: Head of Marketing & Digital, TelstraSuper
- Trudie Newton: Relationship Manager, Agency Securities Finance, J.P. Morgan
- Shannon O'Shea: General Manager - Business Growth, HESTA
- Steve Travis: Group Executive Member Growth, Aware Super
Join us over breakfast to discuss policy proposals and research findings that will help funds continue to best serve their aging members achieve financial security and maximise their retirement savings.
