Last years’ monthly Lunch & Learn sessions were consistently rated as ‘excellent’ by Women in Super members, and accessed by members all around the country, so we’re bringing them back for another year.
These exclusive member-only events are designed to bring some of our most celebrated speakers to a much broader audience – we recognise that not everyone can attend our live events, due to location or budgetary limitations, but that doesn’t mean you should miss out!
For our May session, we are looking at the ACTU's Super Policy Agenda and Gender Equality Priorities with Casey Thompson.
Casey Thompson is the Worker’s Capital Manager at the Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU). The ACTU is the peak trade union body in Australia, representing 1.8 million trade union members across the country. Casey oversees the ACTU’s Centre for Workers’ Capital and superannuation work across Australia and internationally.
The Centre for Workers’ Capital is a research team of the Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU). Since its formation in 1927, the ACTU has been the peak trade union body in Australia. . For more than 90 years, the ACTU has played the leading role in advocating in the Fair Work Commission and its statutory predecessors, for the improvement of employment conditions of employees.
