2025 WOMEN IN SUPER NATIONAL ROAD SHOW  WITH SALLY BRAIDWOOD, DAVID ANDERSON AND ASH PRIEST

1 in 7 people today say it’s harder to be a man than a woman, and 3 in 10 young men believe it will be harder to be a man in 20 years’ time. Young men are notably less positive about the impact of feminism than young women, and 43% of people generally felt there had been some negative impact of feminism.

Super funds play an integral role in gender equality, being closely linked with efforts to improve women’s retirement outcomes. It is important to consider how men, particularly young men, can be re-engaged with gender equality efforts and how men can role model postive and respectful attitudes towards women. 

Ipsos Director Sally Braidwood is joining us for the Women in Super 2025 National Road Show this August, providing key insights on the trends in the data of young male engagement with gender equality.

Sally will be accompanied by leading men in our industry for a panel discussion, moderated by Women in Super's Policy Advisor Ella Melican. Australian Retirement Trust CEO David Anderson, and Novigi CEO Ash Priest, will bring their perspectives on recognising gender inequality as a human rights issue and driving change on gender inequality in the workplace through making systemic shifts to improve workplace cultures and representation of women in organisations.

• Sally Braidwood leads Ipsos’ Corporate Reputation research practice in the APAC region and is the head of ESG research for the Australian business. Within Ipsos’ global business that spans more than 90 countries, Sally is part of a senior team of global reputation and ESG experts who are at the forefront of best practice and thought leadership. 
  Sally holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Business Research, a foundation which enables her to deliver strategic business advice based on empirical evidence and sees her work closely with the boards and executive teams of listed and private sector clients at a local, regional and global level. 

• David Anderson joined Australian Retirement Trust in March 2024 and leads ART's fund and its strategy, operations and culture to support our aspiration to become the distinctive market leader. With more than 30 years of experience in insurance, financial services and professional services, David has successfully led teams and businesses in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, Europe, the United Kingdom and the United States. Before joining ART, David dedicated 25 years of his career to Mercer based in London, New York and Sydney. His final role with the firm was the global Chief Commercial Officer. Prior to this, David oversaw all of Mercer’s clients and teams in more than 175 cities and 42 countries outside the United States and Canada as the President, International. David’s global as well as local career experience is now being put to work for the benefit of ART members and colleagues. David holds qualifications in marketing, superannuation, management and insurance. He is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a Fellow of each of the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia, the Australian Institute of Management, the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, and the Australian Marketing Institute.

• Ash Priest is an experienced entrepreneur, executive level business strategist and technology consultant with a background in data transformation, enterprise architecture, software engineering and programming. With a career spanning more than two decades across a variety of industries and specialising in the wealth sector, Ash is focused on leading highly skilled teams in data consulting, platform architecture and process automation. Since establishing Novigi in 2016, Ash has led the organisation's position as the data and technology partner to the financial services industry and is a well-recognised strategic advisor to many of the largest wealth management organisations.
