Robin Penty

Robin Penty is the CEO of the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation. She has over three decades of experience and expertise in business and organisational development, donor and consumer programs, communications, community engagement, government relations, research and design. In her current role at the OCRF, Robin provides strategic direction to raise millions of dollars each year for ovarian cancer research, and presents regularly on the gender equity gap for women’s health in Australia.

Past roles include executive positions at Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria, The Smith Family, Arts Centre Melbourne, and the Alcohol and Drug Foundation. Over this time, Robin has negotiated dozens of partnerships for a range of important causes in education, environment, arts, culture and civic design - and delivered numerous social inclusion projects for marginalised communities.

Since commencing with the OCRF in 2023, Robin’s leadership has resulted in a 50% increase in annual turnover and 51% increase in OCRF grants to ovarian cancer research - an historic high for the organisation - whilst establishing global partnerships with peer organisations in the UK, USA and Canada.

She describes herself as the boss of a sparkling tribe, one that pushes for more and better for women and girls every single day.
